Who we are
Life’s challenges can leave us feeling discouraged, stuck or helpless. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and can be honest about what you’re going through without fear of judgment.
For those who desire it, we offer the option to incorporate faith into the counseling process. We believe healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, emotions, and overall well-being. Our approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, while also integrating faith-based principles for clients who find that meaningful.
We also approach therapy with cultural sensitivity. We understand that each person’s culture—including race, ethnicity, faith, family values, gender identity, and life experiences—plays an important role in how challenges are understood and addressed.
We strive to be real with our clients— who listens deeply, understands the weight of life’s struggles, and genuinely cares about your growth and healing.
Meet Your Therapist
John Lee
Co-Founder and Licensed Associate Counselor, MS, LAC
I have had the great privilege of growing up in a diverse and culturally rich environment that has shaped the way I connect with others today.
I work with individuals who are navigating stress, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions around identity, purpose, and direction.
My approach to counseling is grounded in creating a space where you can be real—without pressure, without judgment, and without feeling like you have to have everything figured out. I believe counseling should be both supportive and practical. Together, we’ll not only explore what’s going on beneath the surface, but also focus on clear, actionable steps that help you move forward in your everyday life.
At the core of my work is a deep passion for healing—helping you move through pain, gain clarity, and experience real, lasting change.
Lana Lee
Co-Founder and Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, LPC
My role as a therapist is to create a safe space where clients can unpack life’s troubles in their journey of finding freedom, healing, and wholeness. I take a strength-based and culturally sensitive approach with the goal of empowerment in personal growth and overcoming adversity.
I believe healing doesn’t always have to happen sitting across from each other in an office. Some of the most meaningful conversations unfold while walking side by side, breathing fresh air, and allowing space for thoughts and emotions to surface more naturally. That’s why I offer walk-and-talk counseling—an approach that combines movement, nature, and conversation to help clients feel more at ease, open, and grounded.
In addition to traditional counseling, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process and heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. EMDR allows us to go beyond just talking about problems and helps your brain reprocess experiences so they no longer carry the same emotional weight.
